This was the sweetest moment I captured in December. I often find damselflies, and there are countless numbers of them. However, capturing the mating season of damselflies, I have only done it once, and this was the second time.
They (bluetails) were found when I was walking in the mangrove. It was a rare moment—although many damselflies spend their mating season at different times, I was just unlucky—and I didn't want to waste it. Damm it! I only got two angles. They hurriedly avoided me and moved away until they disappeared into the thickets of reeds.
I got another one, but it was just a lonely guy. I patiently waited in case his mate came, but the one I expected to come did not appear.
This is another entry I submitted for the daily #monomad challenge.
