Metamorphosis is a natural occurrence of some animals' life cycles, such as insects, amphibians, and others. For the transformation to run perfectly, it is necessary to go through stages of metamorphosis, which are sometimes very extreme. I can't imagine what would happen to humans if that happened. Surely it would hurt a lot.
Not all of the stages of metamorphosis that occur in insects go perfectly. Some of them failed to transform. This one is an example: a dragonfly nymph that failed to molt. It had become a dry carcass sitting on a rock. How did that happen? It's nature that has secrets.
This is another entry I submitted for the daily #monomad challenge.
