Their nectar-finding business for today was more than enough, and now it's time to rest. They find twigs or leaves to lean on or lie down. They sleep with their eyes still wide open. It was the best moment for me to capture the scoliid wasps while they were resting. They were so soundly asleep that even the sound of a twig breaking couldn't wake them up. One of the wasps was sleeping and occasionally sticking out its proboscis. These wasps exhibit an unusual sleeping pattern, yet they derive pleasure from their leisure time.
