This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge
Earlier at around 17.01 I took the time to go hunting for insects in the bush area on the riverbank, I was accompanied by my 5 year old daughter, because she insisted on coming along, I finally allowed her to go even though the weather was cloudy. After a while of searching I didn't find many insect species there because some places were no longer dense with bushes filled with fresh new plants. Some people who own land have cleared weeds using machetes and machines, while others have sprayed pesticides.
When I was about to give up and choose to go home, I finally saw a long-nosed beetle there and suddenly I felt enthusiastic again. It's actually not difficult to photograph this beetle, but taming it requires patience. Because the typical defense of this beetle is to choose to pretend to be dead so that they escape from being eaten by their prey. So, when I was about to take a picture of it, it repeatedly pretended to be dead, until my son, who saw it, was furious with the beetle's behavior. And some photos of the long-nosed beetle I'm referring to have been uploaded below.
