Season 2023's winter edition.
It is impressive how silent the villages are during the winter. It looks like a boycott; even the kids also seem dislike it.
Where did the joy go? In my childhood, it was the most loved season among us kids, especially during weekends and holidays. Since my village is in a valley and the approach is a huge downhill, that was our main descent down where sleds and hay sacks flew.
Although I noticed the protective umbrella that dad had brought, the youngest and bravest residents who still dared to step outside and enjoy the winter idyll.
In contrast to today's children (with a few exceptions), Rhus typhina survives all seasons and fits wonderfully into all surroundings. Despite being much leafless, big red velvet blossoms coated in snow proudly peek out.
I'm still discussing planting these two in backyard (fingers crossed that I succeed ;)), used to have a genuine Christmas tree.
Self-decorative New Year's tree.
And, during the summer, pine essential oil will be warmed up by sun's (hopefully not too brutal) rays.
I wouldn't mind at all, plus, there would be no pile of leaves for racking.
As always, the oldest ruins of the houses were the prettiest. Most of the often, people parked machinery in front of the households. A sign that everything is sleeping, and resting for springtime, when the front of run-down abandoned houses will be looking completely different.
The truth is that all four seasons exists in the villages; in the city, I measure them by the clothes I wear, whether the city is decorated, shopping discounts, and places to stroll.
The stillness makes the villages the most comforting during the chilly winter days.
A quick peek into the woods, and wow, it's the cleanest I've ever seen, without a single plastic bag!
Anyone for ice mushrooms?
Anyone into grumpy cats?
Yeah, I know they are jerkEys anyway, but this is the territory of untrustworthy cats, and I would only bother one for a few long moments.
I'd also add one cat to the list for the backyard, who will very undoubtedly be everyone's cat, because I won't be able to snuggle inside with her.
(not even trying to negotiate that one)😂
