Today, I'll be presenting a photo I took on the streets while testing my equipment just before a photoshoot. I'm not much of a street photographer, but this photo is my favourite just because of the emotion captured and the stories that could be told.
As mentioned above, we were preparing for a photoshoot at a field nearby. Hive account@kodeblaccc was present as well as the model and her friend who did her makeup. I was busy capturing random stuff around while waiting for the model to get ready so I could kill some time. Then I spotted these two boys who happened to be hawking "pure water" (It's what sachet water is commonly called in my country) peeping from a distance. I could tell the level of interest they had in what we were doing because I was once a kid and I knew how it felt to see something that seemed awesome in my eyes. I called them and asked if they'd like a photo, they happily agreed and we took the shots. Out of them all, this one was my favourite. You could see one of the boys happily smiling at the camera whilst the other in front carried his water which he was hawking. He wasn't paying attention to the camera at this time because he was talking to Hive account@kodeblaccc who wanted to purchase some water from him so we could all quench our thirst.
Here's the photo:
I chose black and white for this photo because I wanted to get rid of the distractions brought about by the various colours around so once could center the focus on the emotion captured in this photo. This was done easily thanks to the Adobe Lightroom Mobile app on my smartphone.
