Hello hiver
Hello everyone, how are you
I'm back with a black and white photo of me that you might like and this is my entry #monomad
A unique tradition that is still maintained by the people who live in Gayo during the celebration of welcoming Independence Day, with traditional horse racing competitions.
This is a phenomenon that I witnessed during a visit to Gayo
Pacu Kude, becomes part of the attraction
This tradition has become an annual agenda for the Gayo people and also for foreign tourists. I also really enjoy the entertainment of horse racing.
Thousands of spectators enthusiastically packed the kude racetrack with horse racing performances in Central Aceh and Bener Meriah districts.
In the jockeys without using a saddle, there is no mandatory clothing used by jockeys.
Some of the jockeys I saw used makeshift helmets to protect their heads when they fell. This is the uniqueness, the Gayo Kude Race which involves both adult and child jockeys.
