At 06.00 economic activity at the Waiwerang market began to stir
Merchants came from the other side of the island by boat and brought produce to sell
Waiwerang Market, Adonara, East Flores, East Nusa Tenggara.
Like other traditional markets, this market also has market days, every Monday and Thursday.
On market days, traders and buyers come from the other side of the island such as the islands of Solor and Lembata.
The uniqueness of Waiwerang Market is that it still applies a system of exchanging goods between traders, such as agricultural products being exchanged for marine products, later the goods will be resold at their original place.
