This is Becca d'Epicoun, a wild mountain between Italy and Swisse, in Valpelline, Alps.
Some days ago my friend alpine guide has said to me that this glacier is completely changed: more rocks, less ice. A different place now.
I watch these images and I know there is a 'world' getting lost, and photography has also the purpose to preserve memories, not only personal and good memories, but also a collective time the risks to be forgotten.
The glacier was long to pass. On the way back, a thunderstorm came, and I watched a lighting some hundreds meters from me, I was scared.
I hope these landscapes will like you, and I hope you too can walk in these or other similar places, to get in touch with the wilderness.
