Lost places in winter - Aveto valley

This is my entry for #monomad challenge by Hive account@monochromes.

In this post I show you some of the mountains of my region (Liguria, Italy).
Place is Mount Bue, above Santo Stefano d'Aveto town, in Aveto valley.
I took this pics during a trek with ski.

In winter it happens very soon to see this landscape: snow and fog playing covered and uncovered woods and peaks.

This peak is called 'La Rocca', over a beautiful meadow called 'Prato della Cipolla'.

Here you can see Alps in the background, with Monviso (3841 meters high, 180 kilometers away).

Here the new chairlift, closed and empty in covid time.

Here the old refugee, closed by many years... It has been built exactly on the summit of Mount Bue, like a lost cathedral in a white desert.

That place is abandoned, and thinks appear as to be frozen in time, like a sign of a faraway past.
