Today I will take you for a walk to the most well known market in Jerusalem, Mahane Yehuda Market. It's a place where everyone goes to buy especially food. That's right, like so many other markets in Israel, the Yehuda Market specializes in offering all kinds of food.

Hoy los llevaré a pasear al mercado más conocido de Jerusalén, Mahane Yehuda Market. Es un lugar a donde van todos a comprar especialmente comida. Así es, como tantos otros mercados de Israel, el Yehuda Market se especializa por ofrecernos todo tipo de comidas.

In addition, it is quite particular and very comfortable, because although it has its large sectors for fruits and vegetables, bakery and specialties such as olives of different varieties or baked goods of the most elaborate, it also has bars and restaurants of a very relaxed style that invite you to sit down and have a drink.

The people are very friendly and always try to get you to buy something from them, so they will talk to you in a very respectful and polite way.

Además, es bastante particular y muy confortable, porque aunque tiene sus amplios sectores para frutas y verduras, panadería y especialidades como aceitunas de diferentes variedades o panificados de los más elaborados, también tiene bares y restaurantes de un estilo muy relajado que invitan a sentarse a tomar algo.

La gente es muy amable y siempre intentan que les compres algo, por lo que te hablarán de muy buenas maneras y con mucho respeto.

I visited this market alone, but later, I was joined by some of my fellow volunteers: Kevin, who was also in Jerusalem (he is from the USA), Talia (also from the USA) and Maya (from Canada).

Talia is living in Israel, so she knows a lot of places, so she recommended us to eat something at one of the bars in the Yehuda Market.

Visité este mercado sola, pero luego, se sumaron a la salida algunos compañeros de mi voluntariado: Kevin, que también estaba en Jerusalén (el es de Estados Unidos), Talia (también de Estados Unidos) y Maya (de Canadá).
