The Visual Monomad Photographic Challenge My Entry # 235 - "Ap Ma'e" A Tough Fisherman

Hello my friends..
As usual, on the daily monomad Challenge I want to contribute my entry for the Challenge And this is the entry for the Monomad Challenge this time.

When the atmosphere changes from day to night, the atmosphere that was originally bright slowly becomes dark. When the atmosphere is like this all living things will return to their respective homes and gather with their families. So do the birds fly over the horizon and return to their nests. At that time, I passed a river in my area.

There, I saw a fisherman who was still doing his activity, namely fishing in the river. The river water was receding at that time. So it is clear that the mounds of the ground surface between the fishermen.

As you can see in the photos that I share in this post, the old man is paddling and pulling his net while releasing the fish caught in his net. The fisherman was also seen hitting the water with the paddle of his boat so that the fish would run and hit his net.

I was on the bank of the river and watched every movement of the old fisherman and took pictures. And coincidentally the fisherman was not far from me taking pictures. So after taking pictures I can ask about him.

From our speakers. He told me that he had to be willing to work even though it was already dark. This is to meet the economic needs of the family. In addition, almost every day when the river water recedes. He always comes alone to look for fish even though sometimes he doesn't get anything from this work. He is also one of the traditional fishermen here. The canoe used for fishing is also his own. he said.

Because the atmosphere was getting dark, I ended my conversation with him. And he again rowed his canoe and pulled back his net. At that time, I did not go straight home. I waited until the fisherman came home. And sure enough, it wasn't long before he was rowing his sampan and heading home.
