Hello my friends..
As usual, on the daily monomad Challenge I want to contribute my entry for the Challenge And this is the entry for the Monomad Challenge this time.
As we know, the main occupation of residents in coastal areas of Indonesia is fishing. They rely on the natural resources of the sea to make a living for their families.
The men sail out to sea, while some of the women look for clams and oysters on the banks of rivers in coastal areas. The fisherwomen willingly bathe in the river at low tide to find mussels and oysters to be sold at the traditional market the next day.
The activities of these fisherwomen are usually carried out in the afternoon, perhaps because in the morning they are busy taking care of their respective households. Until now, I still don't know the reason why they look for mussels and oysters in the afternoon.
Maybe someday I'll do a more in-depth interview with them. And I will write their story back on my personal blog.
Usually, they come home at sunset, walk across the river that empties into the sea, carrying the clams and oysters they get.
In this post, I will share a series of photos that you can enjoy and see the story behind the black and white visuals that I share. Here are the photos.
This is my entry for the #monomad challenge contest, hosted and curated by .
