This is my Entry #03 for #monomad.
What has life to offer me when I grow old? is the first line of the song Next In Line by popular 1990's band ** After Image. Wency Cornejo, the band's then lead vocalist, sang it live in Wish 107.5 Bus. By the way Wency is the son of the famous and veteran news anchor and host Ms. Mel Tiangco of GMA 7 Network.
I was born when my father was in his early 40's. Now I am in my early 40's, I wish that I can copy what our father's way of taking care of us. I would say that he is a very disciplinarian father. If we have done something wrong, it's always a belly down situation. We have to face the consequences.
I would say that he is a good provider. Eventhough we are poor, we always have food three times a day - will it be a boiled corn, cassava, kamote (sweet potato) or saba (type of banana).
I am very thankful that we were brought that way. I cannot say that I am a very good son but through our father's way to discipline as, I became a good person, also with the help of God.
