Hello, dear Black and White community!
I was born on the coast of Peru, to be exact, in the capital city of Lima surrounded by beaches, sunshine, and a lot of humidity. I always dreamed of traveling and getting out of the city.
I will never forget the first time I was able to leave: I traveled to Cusco, a 24-hour bus ride through winding roads that climb the mountains until they pass above the clouds. It was an endless journey, but one that was worth it.
That’s how I discovered Cusco, and from that day on, I couldn’t stop. People used to say that Cusco has energy and believe me, it truly does. The stones have power. Its cobbled streets, the famous twelve-angled stone, the warmis (women in Quechua) walking with their vicuñas or waiting for tourists to take a photo, its markets with delicious breakfasts, its plazas. It’s a city that speaks for itself and transmits so much. This time, I want to share with you some photographs from one of my many trips, and I hope you enjoy them. I’ll divide them into two parts so you can appreciate them better.

¡Hola, querida comunidad Blanco y Negro!
Nací en la costa del Perú, para ser exactos en la capital Lima, rodeado de playas, de sol y de mucha humedad. Siempre soñaba con viajar y salir de la ciudad. Nunca olvidaré la primera vez que pude salir de mi ciudad: viajé a Cusco, un viaje en bus de 24 horas por carreteras que suben los cerros hasta pasar las nubes. Es un viaje interminable que valió la pena.
Así conocí Cusco, y desde ese día no pude parar. Me decían que Cusco es energía, y créanme, lo es. Las piedras tienen poder, sus calles empedradas, la piedra de los 12 ángulos, sus warmis (mujer en quechua) caminando con sus vicuñas o esperando turistas para tomarse una foto, sus mercados con sus ricos desayunos, sus plazas es una ciudad que habla por sí sola y transmite mucho.
En esta ocasión quiero mostrarles algunas fotografías que tengo en mis álbumes de uno de mis tantos viajes y espero que sea de su agrado. Lo dividiré en dos partes para que lo disfruten mejor.
