Hello friends of the Black and White community and #MonoMad. We start another week with all the energy and good vibes. Summer is leaving us; I can already feel the days getting cooler here in Cusco. Today I bring you another series from the great archaeological center of Saqsayhuamán, with photos focused on Inca architecture that I truly love. I can't stop admiring it every time I edit these photos; I am totally amazed by the magnitude and power of that place.
Saqsayhuamán was much more than a fortress; it was a ceremonial center of immense spiritual and military importance. It is a place where you can relax, with vast green spaces where you can lie down, read a book, and share with others. Having that moment of connection with Mother Earth—Pachamama—is vital for me.
On a personal note, today I start a new adventure: I’m beginning my classes again! I feel a bit of nerves, but it’s never too late to start over or fulfill your dreams. I’m very happy about this. I send you a big hug, great vibes, and an excellent start to the week. May April bring you many surprises and plenty of energy.

Hola, amigos de la comunidad en Blanco y Negro y mis amigos del MonoMad. Empezamos una semana más con toda la energía y las buenas vibras. El verano nos abandona; ya empiezo a sentir los días más frescos por acá en Cusco. Les traigo una serie más del gran centro arqueológico de Saqsayhuamán, con fotos de arquitectura incaica que me encanta. No puedo dejar de admirarla cada vez que edito estas fotos; me quedo asombrado totalmente con la magnitud y el poder de ese lugar.
Saqsayhuamán era mucho más que una fortaleza; fue un centro ceremonial de inmensa importancia espiritual y militar. Es un lugar donde puedes relajarte, con extensos lugares verdes donde puedes echarte a leer un libro y compartir con los demás. Tener ese momento de conexión con la madre tierra—Pachamama—es algo fundamental para mí.
En lo personal, hoy empiezo una nueva aventura: ¡vuelvo a las clases! Siento un poco de nervios, pero nunca es tarde para volver a empezar o para cumplir tus sueños. Estoy muy contento por esto. Les mando un gran abrazo, muchas buenas vibras y un excelente comienzo de semana. Que abril les traiga muchas sorpresas y harta energía.

🏰 THE LEGACY OF SAQSAYHUAMÁN / EL LEGADO DE SAQSAYHUAMÁN
Saqsayhuamán is famous for its massive dry stone walls. The stones are fitted together so tightly that a single piece of paper cannot fit between them. It was built during the reign of Pachacútec and was the head of the Puma-shaped design of ancient Cusco. Today, it remains a sacred space for the Inti Raymi and a sanctuary for those seeking peace.
