One of the things I also love is football. I always try to support the team I've been a fan of for as long as I can remember. On this occasion, I went to the stadium to watch a Copa Libertadores match against a team from Venezuela, Carabobo. We had already played the away leg and achieved a 1-0 victory. In Lima, we had to draw or win to qualify for the next stage of the Copa Libertadores.
That didn't happen during the 90 minutes; we lost 2-1. That tied the aggregate score, so everything was to be decided in a penalty shootout that was incredibly agonizing. I've always believed that a football match is a bundle of nerves, where you have to learn to manage your emotions and support your team unconditionally. I am a Sporting Cristal fan, and I will always support them.
Luckily, we managed to qualify! We won on penalties, and it was a massive celebration throughout the stadium—pure happiness and joy. And even though I didn't bring my professional camera, as I always say: you can make art with your smartphone too. Here are the photos I was able to capture on that beautiful and tense day.

Una de las cosas que también me encantan es el fútbol. Siempre trato de apoyar al equipo del cual soy hincha desde que tengo uso de razón. En esta ocasión, fui al estadio a ver un partido por Copa Libertadores contra un equipo de Venezuela, el Carabobo. Ya habíamos jugado el partido de ida de visitante y logramos una victoria por 1 a 0. En Lima teníamos que empatar o ganar para poder clasificar a la siguiente fase de la Copa Libertadores.
Cosa que no se dio en los 90 minutos; perdimos 2 a 1. Eso igualaba la serie, así que todo se definía en una tanda de penales que fue muy agónica. Siempre he creído que un partido de fútbol es un manojo de nervios, del cual uno tiene que aprender a manejar sus emociones y apoyar a su equipo a muerte. Yo soy hincha de Sporting Cristal y siempre lo voy a apoyar.
¡Por suerte se pudo lograr la clasificación! Se ganó por penales y fue una celebración de todo el estadio, muy feliz, muy alegre. Y aunque no llevé mi cámara profesional, como siempre digo: con tu celular también puedes hacer arte. Acá les dejo las fotos que pude captar en ese hermoso y tenso día.
