Greetings to everyone at hive, this is my first post in this community, and I want to do it to participate in the #monomad challenge.
During the fall, I had the pleasure of traveling to Bariloche in the province of Rio Negro, Argentina. The four photos in my entry today were taken on the shores of Lake Nahuel Huapi: one with a view of the Cathedral, another with a view of the wooden totem poles that watch over the lake's waters, and the last, a view of the lake itself, where the totem poles of the mother and father can be seen in one corner.
The Cathedral of Our Lady of Nahuel Huapi is built in the neo-Gothic style and made almost entirely of white stone. When you enter, you feel as if you've traveled back in time to one of those Christian buildings from the Renaissance period.
On the other hand, the wooden sculptures found throughout the island are mostly creations by Chilean architect Jean Petitpas and represent deities honoring the father and mother. who are in charge of watching over the waters of the lake, always looking towards the east, as if protecting the city from any danger.
I hope you enjoy my post. I'll be open to any suggestions or comments. Greetings again from Argentina. Thank you in advance for taking the time to interact with this post!
