Got half a dozen projects that could use my attention, instead it's the archive that's getting it. Usually when I go digging through old photos, there's a great deal of "WTF? Why did I shoot that that way? And keep shooting it?"
Asked the Oracle of the Haunted Water Fountain of Beechmont that same thing some time ago, but the oracle simply gurgled. Anyways, this jaunt through the archive was no different, but every once in a while you see something in a different light and have to edit it.
It's weird the effect time can sometimes have on how you view things. Who remembers the chip shortage a few years back? Some things seem important and powerful in the moment but fade with time, others the situation is reversed.
Procrastinate enough and it can put you in a reflective mood. Or at least let you spot patterns and bad habits you need to address. That's probably enough fiddlefarting and lollygagging for one day, time to start fixin' to do something...
