Snuck out of town this afternoon and headed up that highway of madness otherwise known as I-71. Wound up in Newport, Kentucky, just across the Ohio River from Cincinnati.
Going to spend a couple nights in an old tea house/shop and explore a bit. My partner used to live here so it's part guided tour. How could you not start with the Brass Ass?
Wandered around for a bit and got a feel for the lay of the land, even managed to snap a few shots while we were at it. Haven't had a chance to read up on Newport so I'm not vouching for anything in these shots.
May or may not be about to fall asleep, so if this don't make sense just blame the sign. 
Hold my beer, this place is famous! Just don't ask me why. We're going to be brave and cross the river tomorrow, give Cincinnati what for. Will post more when I get some time to stare at them properly. Until then, y'all be good or at least good at it.
