Rolled back into Louisville around 0300 Monday morning and I'm still salty about that. Think I got me a case of them back home blues.
I ain't ever satisfied but it always gets much worse whenever I get back from an adventure. Y'all know the feeling? Nothing sounds like fun unless it's somewhere other than here, and you just can't seem to work up any enthusiasm for getting back to the same old same old.
Sometimes looking at photos from old adventures is a lovely escape, other times it's an obnoxious reminder that you're not still there. Today definitely falls into the latter category. Tried to sidestep that by editing photos from my recent adventure that could have been taken anywhere. Didn't work very well but I did get a little bit done.
These were all taken with a wide angle lens wandering the streets of Washington DC. I've been there enough times now that I have trouble getting excited about the usual landmarks but there was plenty else to shoot.
Reckon I will get over these back home blues, probably just as soon as I have my next adventure planned. Anybody got another cure for them back home blues?
