Fishing is one of the most popular activities on this site, a few months ago, I met an old man, a very kind man who attended me and answered my questions. I am from a fishing village and although far from my home at that time, seeing people fishing is familiar to me and reminds me of a time from my childhood.
Having a camera serves as a pretext for learning about human stories and the reasons for their actions.
La pesca es una de las actividades más realizadas en este sitio, hace unos meses, conocí a un anciano, el señor muy amablemente que me atendió y respondió a mis preguntas, soy de un pueblo pesquero y aunque alejado en ese momento de mi hogar, ver a personas pescando me resulta familiar y me hace recordar algún momento de mi niñez, tener una cámara fotográfica me sirve de pretexto para conocer historias humanas y el porqué de sus actos.
This humble but kind man told me that every afternoon before or after picking up his grandchildren from school he used to fish or at least try, because the amount of fish has decreased, the situation was no longer the years ago, it is difficult, according to him due to the contamination of the place, also due to the increase in fishermen given the complicated food situation that we have here.
Este hombre humilde, pero bondadoso, me contó que cada tarde antes o después de buscar a sus nietos a la escuela se dedicaba a pescar o por lo menos a hacer el intento, pues la cantidad de peces ha disminuido, ya la situación no era la de años atrás, se dificulta, según él, por la contaminación del lugar, también por el aumento de los pescadores dada la situación alimentaria complicada que tenemos acá.
I think that the documentation of these stories is important, giving voice to anonymous people, showing realities, photography plays a leading role for this, it is a powerful tool, so using it should be, from my point of view, to do good.
Pienso que es importante la documentación de estas historias, darle voz a personas anónimas, mostrar realidades, la fotografía juega un rol protagónico para esto, es una herramienta poderosa, por lo cual utilizarla debería ser, desde mi punto de vista, para hacer el bien.

Sé paciente, no te desesperes. En el arte la calidad debe estar por encima de la cantidad.Sé respetuoso /respetuosa con las personas, si se niegan a ser fotografiadas, no las molestes, están en todo su derecho.Lleva memorias de repuesto, también baterías cargadas (No hay nada más triste que no poder hacer una imagen por no tener repuestos)No desestimes la posibilidad del uso del teléfono móvil para hacer fotografía.
