Now that Halloween is over, it's time to start welcoming the next big holiday before the end of the year. I know it might seem early to think about it, but here in Singapore (and likely in most of Southeast Asia), the Christmas spirit is already being showcased in shopping malls. Decorations fill the space, adorning every wall and corner you set your eyes on.
The Shoppes at MBS has once again started a trend... black-and-white Christmas theme!
To be honest, I was expecting a theme in either red and gold or blue and silver. However, it seems that things often happen when you least expect them. I suppose it's a sign of modern times, and designers no longer have to strictly adhere to tradition.
There’s a cool, modern vibe in this massive hall due to the huge displays floating above the ceiling. The Christmas trees, completely covered in snow, have transformed the space into a true wonderland!
As I was taking the photos, it was already clear to me that I would be posting them to the Black-and-White community as my entry for the #monomad challenge. Given the current color theme, I realized it would only take a few clicks to edit the photos and transform them into monochromatic or black-and-white images. 😊
After roaming around the shopping mall's interior and its surroundings, I decided to take more photos of one of the nicest sections of the mall: the long, winding line of shops...
Exploring the mall's festive displays was an inspiring experience that brought out the holiday spirit and creative possibilities. Capturing these moments through my lens reminded me of the beauty in both tradition and modern interpretations. I hope these images convey a sense of wonder and inspire others to find joy in the simple, yet grand, moments around them.
