Monomad Challenge: "Dew Drops and Antique Things" Black and White Photography

Greetings everyone, today is another day of sharing my black and white photography entry initiated by #monomad and Dear friend Hive account@brumest. I tried to do macro photography using only my cellphone and I tried my best to take macro photos. The first black and white photo I have is all about this dew drops on the tip of the leaves. I tried many times capturing a perfect photo of the dew drop and it takes almost twenty minutes of retaking and recaptured the image. For me, this is a perfect black and white image I did because of the macro photo of the dew drop on the leaf. In reality, this dew drop represents the calmness and relaxness if we bonded to Nature. It also shows at the end of the dew drop the shiny image comes from the sun and a reflection of the image of the environment inside of the dew drops. The surface of the leaves also contains a cells like at the lines marks of the leaves.

The surface of the leaves also shows the roughness and hairlike structures of the leaf where the dew drop shows. For me, this first image of mine is already a success because of many attempts of recapture of image until I fully satisfied the image.

The second image represents the shiny things decorated with unique swan designs. This is very an antique thing I collected and kept and thankfully my great Grandma gave this to me. This very unique flower vase decorated with big flowers and two big swans with flower vase at the middle. Aside of shiny surface, this two vases was age 100 years old already and for me it is a kind of hierloom on which I can show this to my Grandchildren the pieces of the great pass from my great Grandma. This pieces of thing are very treasure and very important to me, a piece of great pass from my Grandma passed to mine. It is very perfect to use as a center decorations at the center table, putting with flowers and a piece of cloth where this antique small vases will place.

This Is a very old metal iron thing ages 110 years old already. My Grandma gave this to me as a precious gift for me and told me to keep it so I can have lots of antique things to keep. This very old metal iron are very usable back in the days when there are still no electricity and still no electric iron invented. The handle of this thing is made of iron wood, a name of a tree as one of the hardest tree here in our Country. Holes built at the side of the flat iron served and use so the smoke can easily get out at the air can easily in creating the charcoal to burn continously. The shape of this flat iron is just like a stern of the boat and it made Philippine made but very old. The small handle thing is used to lock so charcoal wont spilled out, this is the thing our ancestors always used back in the olden times.

Old things is a piece of golden treasure and it is very precious, our elders or ancestors gave this kind of thing so we cannot forgotten the old and past civilization. Until next post, have a nice day to all of us.
