"Alone"...
I've been reviewing my Lightroom folder and, among so many photos, I decided to make a post with a theme called "Alone".
These are photos I've taken in different places or parts of the city, in which I realize there is only one person in the frame. At the same time, I remember exactly when I took each one and how that person was there: in a park, crossing an avenue, doing whatever activity, but always alone.
Now that I think about it, I've always tried to take photos like this. They have a more intimate atmosphere and fewer distractions. The fewer people there are in the frame, the cleaner the shot turns out, I think, in combination with the surrounding environment.
It could be just one person sitting on the grass, enjoying a picnic, sunbathing, or reading a good book. It could even be an animal: a small bird perched on the ground, looking for a little food.
Any element, in contrast to the light and shadows of that day, of that moment.
Now, putting it in another context, when we hear the word alone, or feel that we are alone, or even when we are, is that a bad thing?
Isn't it healthy to be with yourself, spend time with yourself, and enjoy yourself? I think that being alone, in a way, is a blessing. Being with yourself, getting to know yourself, giving yourself time, going on a date with yourself, spending time alone... I think it's wonderful.
I believe that if you can be comfortable with yourself, you will also be able to be comfortable with others.
We always need time for ourselves, without anyone else.
That's all folks. Thanks for stopping by and appreciating.
