There is a corner in the neighborhood of San Nicolás in the autonomous city of Buenos Aires that houses buildings of great magnitude, history and architecture. This area is characterized by business headquarters, banks and palaces. If we stand in the middle of these corners with a wide angle lens we can appreciate the four points of these buildings that if we look closely it seems that the sky itself forms a cross .... It is amazing!
Today I want to share with you a look at the facade of these four buildings, the first one being the main headquarters of the mortgage bank which has a brutalist architectural design.
In second place we have the palace of the reconquest, whose structure houses offices and its use in banking, has an academicist style and is also part of the financial area of the San Nicolas neighborhood. In third place we have the old German bank Transatlantic, a building that went from being a bank to have only offices and that in early 2000 was renamed reconquista plaza.
In the fourth place we have the important bank of the Argentine nation, the main headquarters that was founded at the end of the 1800's and that still continues being the same banking entity.
This is what would be this first photographic series of 5 images captured recently for you. However I decided to add a plus with some more photos of the same area or neighborhood and surrounding spaces, such as the neighborhood of Monserrat and the big pink house, the streets and the people, plus some other facades with different perspectives.
This is my entry for today's monomad challenge and I hope you liked this series of urban, architectural and street photography. A hug to all of you and have a nice evening.

Existe una esquina en el barrio de San Nicolás en la ciudad autónoma de Buenos Aires que alberga edificios de gran magnitud, historia y arquitectura. Ésta zona se caracteriza por tener sedes empresariales, bancos y palacios. Si nos paramos en medio de esas esquinas con un lente gran angular podremos apreciar las cuatro puntas de estos edificios que si vemos bien pareciera que el mismo cielo formase una equis... Es asombroso!
Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una mirada a la fachada de estos cuatros edificio, siendo el primero la sede principal del banco hipotecario el cual posee un diseño de arquitectura brutalista.
En segundo lugar tenemos el palacio de la reconquista, cuya estructura alberga oficinas y su uso en bancario, tiene un estilo academicista y también forma parte de la zona financiera del barrio de San Nicolás. En tercer lugar tenemos al antiguo banco alemán transatlántico, edificio que pasó de ser una entidad bancaria a tener solo oficinas y que a principios del año 2000 le fue cambiado su nombre a reconquista plaza.
En el cuarto lugar tenemos al importante banco de la nación argentina, la sede principal que fue fundada a finales de los años 1800 y que aún sigue siendo la misma entidad bancaria.
Esto es lo que sería ésta primera serie fotográfica de 5 imágenes capturadas recientemente para ustedes. Sin embargo decidí agregar un plus con algunas fotos más de la misma zona o barrio y de espacios aledaños, tal como lo es el barrio de Monserrat y la gran casa rosada, las calles y las personas, además de algunas otras fachadas con diferentes perspectivas.
