At this wedding, I was hired by a wedding planner I no longer work with. At that time, we were just getting to know each other, and I hadn’t yet refined certain processes in my workflow, so it wasn’t a negative experience for me—but later on, I decided not to work with her again because she made my role more complicated.
En esta boda me contrató una wedding planner con la que actualmente no trabajo más. En ese momento apenas nos estábamos conociendo y no tenía curados ciertos procesos de mi trabajo, así que no fue una experiencia negativa para mí, pero luego decidiría no trabajar más con ella debido a que complicaba mi función.
At the time this wedding took place, the business was growing in the number of events, so I couldn’t guarantee my personal attendance at all of them. Because of this, we formed work teams to meet the demand. This worked, but it came with certain challenges since it’s hard to find photographers who align with your visual style and expectations.
Para el momento en el que fue esta boda, el negocio estaba creciendo en número de eventos, así que no podía asegurar mi asistencia a todos. Por lo cual, formamos equipos de trabajo para poder cubrir la demanda, y esto estaba bien, pero traía ciertas complicaciones debido a que es difícil encontrar fotógrafos que se ajusten con tu estética y requerimientos.
After that period where I was coordinating four teams, I had to reduce the number of teams to a maximum of two, because I couldn’t find efficient ways to ensure the photographers met the required level. Still, it was a positive experience, because I ended up taking greater ownership of my aesthetic. So I have good memories and valuable lessons from that time in my life.
Luego de esa experiencia donde coordinaba 4 equipos de trabajo, me tocó deshacer el número de equipos para manejar un máximo de 2 debido a que no encontré formas eficientes de que los fotógrafos se ajustaran al nivel requerido. Pero la experiencia fue positiva porque me apropié de forma más efectiva de mi estética, así que de todo ese momento de mi vida tengo buenos recuerdos y aprendizajes.
