This ant is quite big compared to the other normal ant that I usually find around the house. I am not really sure about the species of this ant, the only thing that comes up when I tried to find it on Google suggests Carpenter Ant.
This ant is staying alone on the papaya leaf, I manage to get a few shots from the front angle, and then when I move to get the shot from the upside angle, the ant runs away pretty fast.
The body of the ant is a little bit hairy, and then it has a very long antenna, but it is folded halfway. I am not really sure why he is wandering around alone, maybe he seeks for the food first before calling out for the colony when he found one.
