This short walk took us through the very picturesque area of the Wye Valley with Litton Mill and Millers Dale close by. The views from the top were wonderful. You can see the old railwaymen’s cottages down by the river.
I decided to concentrate on black and white. It might get me used to when the winter arrives! At the moment, we have to be prepared for the weather changing pretty quickly.
The walk is on a former railway trackbed of the old Midland Railway. It used to link Manchester with London. The local council converted it into a walking and cycling trail.
There was a lovely river with some cool reflections and lots of shaded wooded areas to look at along the way.
We spotted a heron in the distance. You can just make it out.
The sun was coming through the trees lighting up different areas.
It was a nice little walk. I can't wait for autumn when the leaves change their colour.
This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.
