I like evenings on the beach. Kids are tired. Dogs are tired. People are slowly packing their stuff and going home.
Besides that, the low sun gives such cool, long shadows. It is the perfect time (or a sunrise if you are an early birdie) to get some silhouettes. I never felt comfortable shooting people and showing their faces online. Shooting against the sun, I don't have to worry about it. All I get is the shapes which is just perfect!
There was this very long path between the car park and the sandy beach. It was turning right and left a few times to make it more interesting. If I wanted to be extra annoying I could just sit on one of the benches there and shoot :)
Instead, I tried to catch the moments when there were less people on it and use zoom.
The man below seemed like he wanted to pose. He saw me shooting and just stood there.
Or he just didn't give a crap :p
And then the beach was getting emptier and emptier.
Nobody was using the chairs anymore. The shadows from the umbrellas were not attractive enough either.
What a lovely time of the day!
I did not wait for the sunset. It would be a bit boring without a single cloud on the sky. For that I have to go back in late fall or winter.
