Nature is calming down. That's how I see all that is happening around in the Fall. And I love that calm. Plants don't scream with colours anymore, but accept the fact that they all will look the same soon. Dry and brown. Preparing for the spring boom all over again.
Bugs are lazy and don't try to eat me alive and the sun seems more friendly.
This is the time for Heather to bloom, but some bushes didn;t survive the summer. Dried with buds.
And of course lots of dry grasses, flowers and pods. With lack of colours it is more about the textures and shapes now. I don't mind :)
And as we were leaving the place some trees were still waving with bright red (just use your imagination here :p) leaves.
