Shot during winter in one of the parks in Wrocław.
One that I usually visit and have been a regular to while I live in the city. With large pond in the middle and old trees, birds and squirrels it doesn't feel like you are still almost in the center of a big town.
In summer full of people, kids running around, picnic blankets, music.
In winter you get those long shadows and dog owners wrapped in jackets and scarfs :)
It was a sunny day and and if it wasn't for the naked trees around, you'd think it is spring. But it was damn cold and the wind was not nice. There was no snow, but you could feel the chill and smell of frosty night approaching.
The pond has a fountain in the middle that operates during the warmer month. It is turned off for the winter in case the water freezes.
That pile of sticks on the left is a tiny island in the middle of the pond. A little hideout for the ducks to rest and nest. Away from nosy doggies.
Not sure if swans have their spot there too.
Of course I had to shoot some dry pods too :)
