Hello folks.
This is my entry for the #monomad photo challenge hosted by our friend .
Sad but true, this general store closed last year for good as the covid 19 virus took hold of New York. Although our county had very low numbers as far as cases and deaths, people were tightening their belts as far as their spending habits. Bracing for the lay offs which were to come, people just stopped buying, driving and going into town.
This local eatery, which served breakfast lunch and dinner, was always busy, especially in the warmer months, serving outdoors and bringing in local bands to play for the patrons.
Covid killed their business.
Hoping we don't see anymore of these abandon houses, although both of these were left to the elements years ago.
It's a little spooky if you ask me.
The #blackandwhite community is growing. The talent is abundant and the #photography is stunning.
Best wishes to all the #monomad buffs.
