I refer to it as my watch but Casio call it the G-Shock Mudmaster GWG1000-1A3...and since buying it a couple years ago it's been my go-to 'daily driver' as far as watches go. I have several others, some far more expensive, but I happily wear this one virtually all the time because I love it.
I know some prefer not to wear a watche these day in preference to looking at their their phone, but I'm a little old fashioned and prefer a watch; besides, I don't like looking at my phone much; if it rings I answer and other than that it's largely forgotten.
I recently had some time to myself and decided to see if I could produce a black and white image worthy of posting in this community and this is what I photographed.
I've selected a few images with light reflecting in the face; that's light from the light-ring in my lightbox and rather than get annoyed with it I decided to work with it and make it part of the photograph. For a couple of the shots I used a little torch as a highlight (two and five) but other than that these were all shot using the light-ring on the lightbox at the lowest setting and I twiddled some dials on my camera to get the effect I was looking hoping for.
And...that's it for now. I'm not sure if any of these shots are much good and I don't care to be honest; I enjoyed taking them and whether they're good or not won't effect my day or the enjoyment I get out of owning this legit watch. If you've got any comments feel free to leave them below, I'll get back to you.
