Up at the crack of dawn to rubber neck as our boat sailed through the Sundarbans from Mongla. The Empty Cargo vessels sitting high on the water, silent, the early morning mist still sitting, the sun not yet powerful enough to burn it away.
The tide will rise and maybe these vessels can make their return journey up stream to India
Whilst others sit low in the water awaiting their turn to berth at the Port of Mongla or at one of the many riverside jetties and discharge their loads direct to the factory.
Whilst amidst them all life continues for those than live their lives on the water
