Rarica is a exhibition by the artisy Francesco Diluca. IT sees a number of humanoid like figures made of wire and string and some wort of fully material.
I saw it whilst I was on the island of Ortiga, it was staged in the Castello Maniace, which is fort/castle right at the end of Ortiga, which itself is a tiny island linked to Sicarusa which is on the South East coast of Sicily.
The pieces are actually red, but I think they take on a bit of a haunting presence when shot in Monochrome, of course the surronds are helping as well, the Castle which dates from the 12th century is eerie enough, but then this half skelton, half human figures, which seem to be longing for something make it even weirder.
