Another post from Solang Valley! The joys of being at 2450 meters are hard to find anywhere else, which is why I love this place and it's one of my favorites. While exploring the area, I experimented quite a bit with my new mobile phone, including long exposure shots.
Some of the photos are from our hike from Kothi Top to Khobi. Three of us went on an 18 km hike that day, and we had no idea we would encounter snow on the trail. We were met with knee-deep snow, which gave us quite a bit of trouble; our shoes and pants got completely soaked.
We spent a day near Nehru Kund, where I wandered around, admiring the Beas River and the glistening snow-capped peaks behind it. Sitting in the sun, I took some long exposure shots with my phone.
Then, one day, we hiked uphill from the Vashisht Temple to Mori Dug. We had a lot of fun in the forest along the way, and crossing the numerous streams was a great experience. I tried out some photography skills on these streams. You can see the photos in this post.
I don't have many words in my head today, so I'm ending this post here. I'll make up for it in the next one!
This is my entry for #monomad challenge.
