2026 has been fun for me so far, and I hope you all are enjoying it too. I'm sharing some pictures of the fresh snowfall in Solang Valley, and I hope you'll like them. All the photos were taken with a mobile phone, so the quality might be a little low, but the feeling of the mountains is definitely strong.
Located at the confluence of the Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal mountain ranges, this valley has its own unique charm. In the summers, it's a hub for hiking, climbing, and other adventure activities, and in the winters, there's so much snowfall that it's one of the few places in the residential area where you can ski.
Speaking of the villages around Solang, everyone from young children to adults skis here. If you're interested in learning to ski, you should definitely visit Solang Valley. Besides skiing, you can also hike here in the winter. I especially love visiting the Anjani Mahadev Temple.
Although today's 10 photos are in black and white, even if they were in color, you wouldn't see much color because in the snowfall, all the mountains appear either white or black. Only the blue sky above the mountain peaks looks colorful, and it's a beautiful sight.
How did you like the photos? And does it snow where you live?
This is my entry for #monomad challenge.
