When I was born, my mother told me it was the Special Period. I don't think she ever really left it behind, judging by how I saw time pass and the hard times my mother went through. Today, I believe that many generations grew up burdened with teachings full of lies in favor of their government. The new young people support freedom and bring real problems to light with the aim of improving things. Many of them are punished for saying what they think. For many years, this society has swept things under the rug, but in the end, all the dirt that has accumulated over many years comes out, which is why we are not a country that can sustain itself; it is falling apart with us inside it.
