Caracas in Black and White
I continue touring my city and enjoying the most wonderful and enigmatic urban landscapes I have ever seen, since these are spontaneous shots that seek to show the reality of a capital where contrast reigns, since this is a city that debates between the natural and the artificial , between the modern and the classic, between the cold of the concrete and the warmth of art, between the large residences or commercial buildings and the houses in the mountains where the most disadvantaged population lives, that is, we are in a region where there is a multiplicity of elements that together create a unique and at the same time beautiful environment.

Caracas en Blanco y Negro
Sigo recorriendo mi ciudad y disfrutando de los paisajes urbanos más maravillosos y enigmáticos que visto, pues se trata de tomas espontaneas que buscan mostrar la realidad de una capital en donde reina el contraste, pues esta es una urbe que se debate entre lo natural y artificial, entre lo moderno y lo clásico, entre el frio del concreto y la calidez del arte, entre las grandes residencias o edificios comerciales y las casas de las montañas en donde vive la población más desfavorecida, es decir nos encontramos en una región en donde existe una multiplicidad de elementos que en su conjunto generan un entorno único y al mismo tiempo lindo.
My love for urban photography goes beyond any possible limit and this photographic series demonstrates that quality, since here we can find images captured in various places, such as: a military barracks, at the top of the popular Barrio San Agustín, from the top of the great wall of the Central University or in one of the busiest squares in the center of the city, this is how I manage to generate a very special connection between my city, the camera and myself, which gives me the opportunity to enjoy this activity to the fullest.
Mi amor por la fotografía urbana va más allá de cualquier limite posible y esta serie fotográfica demuestra esa cualidad, ya que aquí podremos encontrar imágenes capturadas en diversos lugares como, por ejemplo: un cuartel militar, en la sima del popular Barrio san Agustín, desde lo alto del gran muro de la Universidad Central o en una de las más concurridas plazas del centro de la ciudad, es así como logro generar una conexión muy especial entre mi ciudad, la cámara y mi persona, la cual me brinda la oportunidad de disfrutar al máximo esta actividad.
I like to capture images that are different from those of the rest of the photographers, I like to try new angles, different nuances and new concepts, this in order to show a different face of the city, a face where it is appreciated as it is, with its virtues and defects, where the structures and creations made by man over the years are the main elements of each capture, but this without leaving aside the impressive nature that surrounds us, which is always giving us a touch of beauty and at the same time making it clear that its majesty is much greater than that of any tower, sculpture or house.
Me gusta capturar imágenes diferentes a las del resto de los fotógrafos, me gusta probar nuevos ángulos, diferentes matices y nuevos conceptos, esto con la finalidad de mostrar una cara distinta de la ciudad, un rostro en donde se aprecie tal cual como es, con sus virtudes y defectos, en donde las estructuras y creaciones hechas por hombre a lo largo de los años sean los elementos principales de cada captura, pero esto sin dejar de lado la imponente naturaleza que nos rodea, la cual siempre se encuentra brindándonos un toque de belleza y al mismo tiempo dejando en claro que su majestuosidad es mucho mayor a la de cualquier torre, escultura o casa.
Feeling the sun, the rain, the breeze and the curiosity of the people while you take a shot is something invaluable, since it is a sensation that reminds us that we are alive and that we are part of the world, but at the same time with this action we are generating art and leaving a legacy for future generations, that is, a photograph is nothing more than our footprint in life, which makes it a very valuable element, since it represents a second of our time and immediately that image is transformed in a real and first-hand witness of our individual and collective history. So, for my part, I will continue touring the streets of Caracas and all those places through which destiny takes me, I hope to continue sharing with you many more stories, experiences and adventures.
Sentir el sol, la lluvia, la brisa y la curiosidad de la gente mientras uno realiza una toma es algo invaluable, ya que es una sensación que nos recuerda que estamos vivos y que formamos parte del mundo, pero al mismo tiempo con esta acción estamos generando arte y dejando un legado para futuras generaciones, es decir una fotografía no es más que nuestra huella en la vida, lo cual la convierte en un elemento muy valioso, pues ella representa un segundo de nuestro tiempo y de forma inmediata esa imagen se transforma en un testigo real y de primera mano de nuestra historia individual y la colectiva. Así que por mi parte seguiré recorriendo las calles de Caracas y de todas aquellas localidades por las que el destino me lleve, espero seguir compartiendo con ustedes muchas más historias, experiencias y aventuras.
