Hello friends of Hive, today I want to make my participation in the Monomad Challenge with the pictures of a nice 1976 Corvette, which I was able to photograph in a parade of the fairs that have started in my city for the month of August.

Hola amigos de Hive, hoy quiero hacer mi participación en el Monomad Challenge con las fotografías de un bonito Corvette de 1976, el cual pude fotografiar en un desfile de las ferías que han iniciado en mi ciudad por el mes de agosto.

This beautiful car surprised me because I had never seen this model before, it reminded me of my mother's Maverick for its sporty style, its long hood and short rear, something very characteristic of the sports cars of the time. So I did not hesitate to take several pictures, everyone wanted a picture with this convertible vehicle, it must be quite an experience to drive this vehicle and feel the wind around. The interior of this vehicle is aesthetically very nice to see and has a thick radio steering wheel that seems quite comfortable.

Este bonito auto me sorprendió pues nunca antes había visto este modelo, me recordó al Maverick de mi madre por su estilo deportivo, su largo capó y su parte trasera corta, algo muy característico de los autos deportivos de la época. Así que no dudé en hacer varias fotografías, todas las personas querían una fotografía con este vehículo descapotable, debe ser toda una experiencia manejar esta vehículo y sentir el viento alrededor. El interior este vehículo estéticamente es muy agradable de ver y posee un volante de radio grueso que parece bastante cómodo.

About the 1976 Corvette, I was able to find out according to Wikipedia that those that include the L-48 engine, reach a maximum of 180 horsepower and those with the optional L-82 engine reach up to 210 horsepower. Currently the price of this vehicle averages between $10,000 and $20,000 , a price that seems to me quite good for a classic, because in my country this is the price of the latest model cars that have nothing special.

Acerca del Corvette de 1976, pude averiguar según Wikipedia que aquellos que incluyen el motor L-48, alcanzan una máximo de 180 caballos de fuerza y aquellos con el motor opcional L-82 alcanzan hasta 210 caballos de fuerza. Actualmente el precio de este vehículo en promedio va entre 10 mil y 20 mil USD, precio que me parece bastante bien para tratarse de un clásico, pues en mi país este es el precio de los carros último modelo que no tienen nada especial.

Unfortunately I could not hear the engine of this vehicle, which according to what I could read has a thunderous sound that is silenced in part by some parts specially designed for it. Lamentablemente no pude escuchar el motor de este vehículo, el cual según pude leer tiene un sonido estruendoso que es silenciado en parte por algunos piezas especialmente diseñadas para ello. Sin más que agregar me despido esperando que les hayan gustado mis fotografías y hayan aprendido un poco sobre el Corvette de 1976 si no lo conocían.
