🇬🇧 Hello! Today I propose to you these photos of a very young girl. Her outfit was ideal for black and white photos and that motivated me to work on these photos.
The young girl is entering the world of modeling in a more adult stage, as I could tell by her fluency in front of the lens, that she had some notion.
She is a very funny girl who laughed all the time, but off-camera, the group of teenagers who accompanied her, did not limit themselves in advising her poses or telling her nonsense that made us all laugh. I have to admit that in the company of so many young people, I also got involved and told her silly things to make her relax when her face was very strong.
In editorial photography, the smile is not seen very often, and the new generations interested in the world, learn from an early age certain poses, and ways of projecting the look, but personally do not like it too much for such young models. So I tried to find in her that freshness that comes with age, through the sincere smile. Hence, the title of my post: a beautiful phrase of the Nicaraguan poet Ruben Dario, from his poem "Song of Autumn in Spring" in celebration of such a beautiful stage of our lives, which we should not try to rush in those younger, but on the contrary, encourage them to be responsible children and young people, yes, but also fresh, childlike, with less concern about "how I look" or "what they will say".
In the last image, one of the boys approached her to help her get off the little wall she was on, not without stopping for a second and beautifully looking at each other, the gesture seemed so tender that I could not help but capture it.
Es una chica muy divertida que se reía continuamente pero fuera de cámara, el grupo de adolescentes que la acompañaban, no se limitaba en aconsejarle poses o en decirle disparates que nos hacían reir a todos. Tengo que reconocer que ante tanta juventud yo también me contagié y le decía tonterías para que se relajara, cuando dejaba el rostro muy fuerte.
En la fotografía editorial realmente la sonrisa no se ve muy frecuentemente, y las nuevas generaciones interesadas en el mundillo, pues aprenden desde temprana edad determinadas poses, y formas de proyectar la mirada, pero que a mí personalmente no me gustan demasiado para modelos tan jóvenes. Así que trataba de buscar en ella esa frescura que otorga la edad, mediante la sonrisa sincera. De ahí, el título de mi post: una bella frase del poeta nicaraguense Rubén Darío, de su poema “Canción de otoño en primavera” en celebración de una etapa tan bella de nuestras vidas, las cuales no debemos intentar apresurar en aquellos más pequeños, sino todo lo contrario, apoyarlos y que sean niños y jóvenes responsables, si, pero también frescos, infantiles, con menos preocupación del "cómo me veo" ni el "qué dirán".
En la última imagen, uno de los chicos que iba con ella se acercó para ayudarla a bajarse del murito sobre el que estaba, no sin detenerse un segundo y mirarse de una manera hermosa, el gesto me pareció tan tierno que no pude evitar capturarlo.
