I go through these streets stealing the scenes almost imperceptibly. Except for some, more seasoned, whose sympathy compliments their intention to ask for a portrait. However, the photo that I like is discreet, the photo that I look for the most is almost equanimous, as if it were an exercise of almost heroic indifference, trying not to submerge and lose myself too much in these streets that are exposed impudent.

Voy por estas calles robándome las escenas de manera casi imperceptible. Salvo por algunos, mas avezados, cuya simpatía comulga con su intención de pedir algún retrato. Sin embargo, la foto que me gusta es discreta, la foto que más busco es casi ecuánime, como si se tratase de un ejercicio de indiferencia casi heroico, buscando no sumergirme y perderme demasiado en esas calles que se exponen impúdicas.

From time to time I am there and I think: "it seems impossible that so much can happen in so little" and then dozens of crazy theories come to my mind, telling me about expanded times, parallel universes and layers of imaginary realities. Then I can almost observe myself wanting to reprimand myself for the simple fact of the consensual delirium lodged in my thoughts.

De vez en cuando estoy allí y pienso: "parece imposible que tanto suceda en tan poco" y entonces me vienen a la cabeza docenas de teorías enloquecidas hablándome de tiempos expandidos, de universos paralelos y de capas de realidades imaginarias. Casi puedo entonces, observarme a mi mismo queriendo reprenderme por el simple hecho del desvarío consentido alojado en mi pensamiento.

Other times I have the crazy idea that my daily walks are part of a "kind of displacement of consciousness" as if it were one of those dreams that we sometimes have and where we are populated by memories and experiences different from the ones we have when we are awake. I can be so "crazy" at times, that I usually suppose that I am inventing all this and somehow putting it in the memory of my old camera.

Otras veces tengo la loca idea de qué mis caminatas cotidianas son parte de una "especie de desplazamiento de conciencia" como si se tratase de uno de esos sueños los cuales aveces tenemos y en donde nos pueblan memorias y vivencias distintas a las que tenemos estando despiertos. Así de "loco" puedo estar a veces, que suelo suponer que estoy inventando todo esto y de alguna manera metiendo todo en la memoria de mi vieja cámara.

_{ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.}

_{NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografias capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape 3.6.3.}
