I sometimes have so many photos in my recent files that I think I could spend every afternoon processing and editing a few for the next couple of months and still not finish selecting and working on them all. So today, sitting here in my studio on a quiet Sunday afternoon, it occurred to me how lucky I am to be able to do what I love almost every day. And at the same time, I think once again about that typical randomness of my town, which has allowed me to create this photographic record that's been going on for years, constantly providing me with something new practically every time I go out into the streets. This town is something that mutates and transforms on every block, as if it had some slightly eccentric and overly imaginative screenwriter. Or maybe it's simply me, with the ability to constantly find something new in everything on these streets that have seen me since I was a child. But the truth is that what happens in the streets changes with the weather, the time of day, the day of the week, the area I'm walking through, with everything, I'd say...

Son tantas fotos las que a veces tengo en mis archivos recientes, que creo que podría estar cada tarde procesando y editando unas cuantas cada tarde desde aquí a un par de meses y no terminar de seleccionarlas y trabajar en todas. Así que hoy, aquí sentado en mi estudio en plena tarde tranquila de Domingo, me ha pasado por la cabeza que soy un tipo con bastante suerte de poder hacer casi a diario esto que tanto me gusta. Y al mismo tiempo, pienso una vez más en esa aleatoriedad típica de mi pueblo, la cual me ha permitido hacer este registro fotográfico que ya lleva años, de manera constante proveyéndome algo nuevo prácticamente cada vez que salgo a las calles. Y es que este pueblo es a cada cuadra algo que muta y se transforma como si tuviese algún guionista un tanto enloquecido y demasiado imaginativo. O quizás se trate simplemente de mi, que tengo la capacidad de encontrar en todo algo nuevo constantemente en estas calles que me han visto desde niño. Pero lo cierto es que lo que pasa en las calles cambias con el clima, con la hora del día, con el día de la semana, con el sector que recorro, con todo, diría yo...

They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape v3.7}
