These photos were taken in the vijarejo near Chefchouen, called Kalla in Morocco. I met two Moroccans who took me on a mountain trail to get to know their homes and their hemp plantations. They offered me tea, bread and eggs when we entered their house. The construction of very thick walls maintains the pleasant atmosphere inside the house, protecting it from the heat outside. It was an unusual experience with Moroccan farmers, as we communicated with a little Spanish and mimics. Sometimes they talked and Arab I was floating without understanding anything. Finally I learned to speak
shukrana, which means thank you.
