Natural landscapes are often associated with beauty because of their dazzling colors. However, for me, I also find beauty in black and white. I remember a phrase from a photography teacher, who believes that it is "more interesting" to take pictures in black and white because we already see life in color, and black and white invites us to see a kind of real fantasy. I think this does not apply to everything, because it depends on the message you want to convey, and in this case, I think that black and white in natural landscapes gives an air of life, although it is often associated with death or sadness. On the contrary, it is a reminder of the capacity and ingenuity we have to transform reality.

Los paisajes naturales suelen estar asociados a su belleza por sus deslumbrantes colores. Sin embargo, para mì, la belleza también la hallo en el blanco y negro. Recuerdo una frase de un profesor de fotografìa, quien cree que es “más interesante” tomar fotos a blanco y negro porque ya la vida la vemos en colores, y el blanco y negro invita a ver una especie de fantasía real. Creo que esto no aplica para todo, porque depende del mensaje que quieres transmitir, y en este caso, creo que el blanco y negro en paisajes naturales brinda un aire de vida, pese a que se suele asociar a la muerte o tristeza. Todo lo contrario, porque es un recordatorio de la capacidad y el ingenio que tenemos al transformar la realidad.
