Rain and cold weather are a recipe for melancholy, depression and any feeling linked to apathy or sadness.
Venezuela is a Caribbean and tropical country, but that does not mean that there are no days when the sun is conspicuous by its absence.
The rain came as a surprise. Luckily I had my phone, and not to lose the habit, I took pictures to reflect a different atmosphere.
Attributing a single meaning to rain is complicated, and somewhat irresponsible, since one cannot dictate an absolute reality through a photo, and in any form of expression.
However, it is no secret that cold weather influences emotions.
What I saw were people taking cover from the rain, but... What's behind that?
Maybe that question is really a personal projection, because at least I enjoy the cold, but I do confess that when I'm not in a positive mood, the rain may accentuate the emotion.
One way or another, I find myself through the photos. That is, there is a bit of my feeling even though I don't star in any of them. It's an unannounced feedback.
The black and white gives the final touch to each image, inviting us to live a visual adventure, because we see shades of colors by nature, so this photographic resource allows us to enter an imaginary world.

La lluvia y el clima frío son la receta para la melancolía, depresión y cualquier sentimiento ligado con la apatía o tristeza.
Venezuela es un país caribeño y tropical, pero eso no quiere decir que no haya días donde el sol brilla por su ausencia.
La lluvia me cayó por sorpresa. Por suerte tenía mi teléfono, y para no perder la costumbre, tomé fotografías para reflejar una atmósfera distinta.
Atribuir un solo significado a la lluvia es complicado, y un tanto irresponsable, dado que no se puede dictaminar una realidad absoluta mediante una foto, y en ninguna forma de expresión.
Sin embargo, para nadie es un secreto que los climas fríos influyen en las emociones.
Lo que ví fueron personas cubriéndose de la lluvia, pero… ¿Qué hay detrás de eso?
Tal vez esa pregunta en realidad sea una proyección personal, porque al menos yo, disfruto el frío, pero sí confieso que cuando no estoy de ánimo positivo, la lluvia puede que acentúe la emoción.
De una u otra manera me encuentro a través de las fotos. Es decir, hay un poco de mi sentir a pesar de no protagonizar ninguna. Es una retroalimentación no anunciada.
El blanco y negro le da el toque final a cada imagen, invitando a vivir una aventura visual, porque vemos matices de colores por naturaleza, por lo que este recurso fotográfico permite adentrarnos a un mundo imaginario.
