"this is my entry for the Monomad challenge"
I had some time wanting to publish here, on the recommendation of my friend , looking for what to make my first entry, I was blank, I couldn't find what pictures to participate in the #monomad challenge.
Today the day came and I'm here with these pictures, first I tell you, when I was leaving work, I had to cross a two-way avenue, in the middle, what we call islands, there were many ornamental trees with many white flowers, they looked so pretty and abundant, I wanted to take a picture of them.
I stayed for a while waiting for the traffic to slow down; however, it was a long time waiting in vain. During that waiting time, I admired this commercial place that I present to you and I said to myself, I'd better take some pictures of this place, which has been part of our lives for some years.
This is a pharmaceutical store called Farmahorro, it was opened about 11 years ago and it is right in front of my work and my home, so we visited it very often, besides going to buy medicines, it also had a part of supermarket, plus some shelves with bookstore, clothes and toys. They had many things to offer.
Sometimes with the coworkers we would just go to buy some knick-knacks or even to enjoy the air conditioning, when we did not have it in the office, we would take a break to cool off, heh, heh, heh.
In this place, both as a family, as well as with co-workers, we lived many anecdotes, because some years ago, there were endless queues to buy basic necessities and there was everything from disorders, acts of kindness and fellowship, as disappointments for wasting time and not getting to buy anything.
I remember how in the office, we took turns to go shopping, some bosses were annoyed, but in the face of necessity, we did not stop much. The important thing was that we fulfilled our assignments. I could tell you so many stories about this place.
Another thing is that in this area, it was one of the nicest places, inside and out, with ample parking and the best part, a trained staff that always treated their customers well.
Now, without more or less one day, they put black bags on each of its windows and doors, they closed it without notice, although inside it was still as nice, assortment of products of all kinds, outside it is quite neglected its gardens, which gave so much life to the store, it is not what it was before, with so much color, for the care received, now they are ugly and sad.
I do not understand the reason for its closure, I thought it was something temporary, but these days they have been removing the furniture, because as I said, from my window I can see, when a staff arrives to do it, there is no turning back.
The truth is that it makes me nostalgic, to see a business when it comes down, after so much effort invested. I don't know what happened, since it is a chain of stores all over the country, surely they will have other projects, the truth is that sales have been affected by the high prices.
I only hope that soon they will be able to place another business and be able to have a place so close where I can do my shopping quickly and with a pleasant atmosphere. Besides, now that we are working at the Foundation again, we would have a place to escape to for a while, heh, heh, heh.
I thought it was pertinent to put these photos in Black and White, because it represents the situation that this business is going through and the nostalgia that it gives us customers who passed by every day.
I hope you liked it, this is my first entry for the community. Thank you very much for reading it. ***God bless you.
