One of the things I love to photograph are reflections in ponds.
Hello friends, I hope you are off to a good start this week. āļø
A few days ago I was walking through the park and stopped to look at the ducks in the pond, but what attracted my attention the most were the reflections of the sky in the pond.
There was no air at that moment so the world seemed to be in pause, and the surface of the pond looked like a large mirror in which everything was reflected with a sublime calm. It seemed like the door to another dimension.
In this photo above, the reflection was especially spectacular, almost all the buildings on the street are reflected, the clouds looked static and the sky reflected an infinite blue. Without a doubt this is my favorite photo of this group.
Although in color the photos look very beautiful I think that in black and white an unreal atmosphere is accentuated, the boundary between the tangible and the reflected became blurred, and the mind could get lost in that illusion of infinite depth.
If we let our imagination flow, perhaps, somewhere in the water, we could see an imperceptible crack, a threshold to another version of this world where time flows differently and each reflection has its own will.š
What do you think? What story goes through your mind when you see the reflections in the water?
