Stone and all the textures, especially as they get weathered, can be subjects that really lend themselves well to black and white. Cemeteries can be some of the best places to find this type of stone, from tombstones to sculptures. I also tend to like the moodiness of a graveyard, and I would say it's actually a setting I never get tired of. I always feel some sense of mystery when I am there; maybe I am wondering about the lives of everyone at rest. What were they like? Do they know I'm here? Just in case, I always thank them for their time and hope that they are at peace.
